Trees have always inspired me in my art. In this painting, I depict imaginary trees that act as guardians of an inner forest. For me, trees are a symbol of peace, kindness, serenity and strength. They provide a home for many living creatures and also give us all life by making the air breathable. Together in the forest, they stand for and with one another, offering protection to the forest’s inhabitants. An additional note on this painting: the ‘moon’ in the ‘sky’ is painted with fluorescent paint and glows in the dark.
