My little painting tells of childhood memories: even as a child, I was fascinated by rainbows – by the seven vibrant colours that took away the menacing appearance of the dark clouds in the sky and brought a smile to my face. In my painting, the globes float towards a land bathed in rainbow colours, and in the distance, the stylised silhouette of Sugarloaf Mountain – the landmark of my hometown, Rio de Janeiro – can be seen.
