Light is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me. When the sun hides behind dark clouds, I let it shine on my canvas. As Wassily Kandinsky once put it when he stood in front of one of Monet’s paintings from the haystack series at an exhibition in Moscow: ‘Art is an independent life!’ This is how my artwork comes to life and illuminates the world with its glistening light.
