Our pair of toucans have settled their dispute (see first toucan painting from 1999). Reconciliation after a quarrel is like a refreshing summer shower on a heat-stricken field, and the satisfying of longing is like the satisfying of a great thirst and a ravenous hunger. Love and affection can also be observed in the animal kingdom; toucans and macaws, for example, stay with the same partner for life. This painting was started in December 2003 and completed in January 2004.
