Here Comes The Sun

39.3 x 31.5 inch, oil on canvas

‘HERE COMES THE SUN’ is one of the Beatles’ most beautiful songs, composed by George Harrison in 1969. It is a song that sings of the sun that has finally come with spring to drive away the long, cold, lonely winter, to bring back the smile on people’s faces, to encourage everyone that light and warmth are coming again after the cold, dark days. This song by the Beatles inspired me to paint this sunny picture, which makes me and everyone who sees it think that darkness is always followed by light. It’s about regaining the confidence that after the dark times that some hateful people have brought to the heart of our beautiful world, the sun will return, warm and strong, to drive away the cold, evil forces.
